Caregiver life is rough sometimes but rewarding always
- Location: Walla Walla,
My story is much like all others. In my teens and 20's I was full of jealousy and comparison because I was larger than the rest of the girls who were a zero or a 2. In my 50's now, I look back and realize how good I looked. I also wish I could tell her NO, don't do it! So many times. However, I would not be who I am today, a Caregiver in a wonderful organization that focuses on God's love, mercy, healing, and restoration. I have learned work ethic, to bloom where I am planted by God, to care for all those who call in or walk by my window. It is a daily struggle because I am human, but it is worthwhile when I can make them laugh or at least smile during the toughest part of their journey. Smile, relax, enjoy every day for what it brings. Shake your head between calls, check ins, patient rooms, and move on to the next one with a fresh outlook. Caregiver life is rough sometimes but rewarding always.
