I'd like to lose a little weight and have started by cutting out processed sugar. I used to bake a lot and by a lot I mean 3-5 times a week. I stopped using white and brown sugar and have replaced it with honey. I have found great recipies that don't have any sugar. If they do have sugar I just google ways to supplement with honey. It's made a huge difference and now when I eat something sweet, it's almost too much. My motto is everything in moderation so I still eat cookies or a piece of cake every now and then, but not baking with sugar has helped a lot and it's a place to start making healthier choices.
