Finding new connections

I found a creative outlet in Community Theater. I spent 38 years as a working mom with 4 kids ranging from 18 to 38. I realized I needed something to challenge me and build connections outside of patenting. Two years ago I auditioned for Pirates of Penzance at my local theater. TO my amazement, I was cast as The Sargent and a Pirate. Since then I have continued to perform in 11 plays, the most recent as Sheldon in The Prom. I am fortunate to have found my tribe! You're never too old to try.
