Having Choose Well Remind Me on a Daily Basis

I've always known the tools I should use to maintain a healthy lifestyle; both mind and both. I am a social worker and a psychotherapist and part of my job are to provide our patient's ways to cope with disability and chronic/terminal health issues. It is one thing to tell others but it is another thing to do it! Self-care is so important in a demanding and emotionally draining profession such as mine. I need to be reminded on a daily basis how grateful I am for my life, my health, for a job I feel passionate about. It is so important for me to take care of myself when I always seem to be last on the list. Having Choose Well remind me on a daily basis of the tools I need to recharge my batteries or the reminder that if I don't take care of myself through eating right or exercising, I will be of no use to others. It sets my head straight. Also, it is important to have a fellowship to keep me motivated and help me feel that I am not alone. "Connectedness" has been proven to be one of the major factors in a happy life! This program has helped me lose a few pounds and not be discouraged when I gain a few (especially when I am stressed or forget to log in)! It reminds me on a daily basis that there are things I can control; trying to sleep more and not overeat compulsively to self-soothe. I can see with the reminders throughout the year that I am making progress and forgive myself for not being perfect! Thank You!
