I found myself trapped in postpartum depression and anxiety

After my daughter was born, I found myself trapped in postpartum depression and anxiety. Once I received the necessary help from my doctor, I realized that I had struggled with depression and anxiety long before giving birth, but had no idea how to recognize it. In focusing on my mental health I have been able to focus more on my spiritual and physical health and well-being. Last year I joined the Get Fit program and am on a mindful track of eating healthier and exercising more regularly; I even completed a "virtually paced" half marathon. Choose well has helped me become more aware of my whole-person care. In taking care of me, I can be the best version of myself for my daughter, for my husband, for my co-workers, and for my friends.
