My Work Home

2002 marked 10 years out from my initial breast cancer diagnosis. I've been reflecting a lot about this journey, the people who have endured it alongside me and looking ahead to the future with hope. A large part of my success as a patient can be attributed to work here at Providence. There aren't enough words in our language to describe the immense support, love and friendship I've received as a caregiver. For those times I've had surgeries, needed rest, or needed a day off for things that bring me joy it's been given to me without question. Such generosity is not lost on me. I'm constantly reminded of how my way has been eased by this place I call a work home. It is because of this I'm able to still work and care for others, something I truly enjoy doing.
