New Patient Story

I grew up in a traditional white household where physical appearance mattered, a big-name college mattered, money mattered, ethnicity mattered, sexuality mattered, and lack of open communication was the norm. Fortunately, despite this, I knew I was loved and was born with an open mind and the gift of waking up each day with a smile on my face. My parents gave me the opportunity to be educated affording me relationships with wonderful people and exposing me to a world where acceptance of all matters. My husband and I have strived to raise children who are kind, resilient, humble and accepting just as we strive to continue to foster and grow these values in ourselves.
