New Patient Story

This past July would be 20 years since my mom was taken away in an utmost tragic, gruesome way; she unfortunately was a victim of a homicide case. This whole ordeal was just too difficult for me to process and definitely went back/fort between each stages of grief. I just wanted to share this just to take it out of my chest. It still feels heavy when discussing about loosing my mom and my only brother. Two years after my mom's passing, our eldest sibling and my only brother who was in his late twenties died of hemorrhagic brain aneurysm after being on life support at Harborview medical center for over two weeks. This experience has thought me to be grateful of each moment at the present time and appreciate quality time we spend with loved ones, family, coworkers, patients, and or strangers.
