I recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of homeownership. In making this decision I was met with a lot of doubt by the people closest to me that it was a wise decision. While this doubt gave me pause and started to make me doubt myself, I overcame that and realized some of the people in my life were holding me back rather than encouraging me to grow. I forged ahead and am now a very happy homeowner getting settled into my new life.
