New Patient Story

Im currently the morning lead at the Providence St. Joseph hospital Starbucks. Im coming up on my 8th year within the organization and dept and couldnt be more happy. I absolutely love where i work. A little history about my self i have always dreamed of becoming a nurse l, i started schooling in highschool ROP and completed my LVN (licensed vocational nurse) in 07. While attending school i worked full time in coffee from a little kiosk in side Vons my 1st experience senior year in 05) And moved my way to supervisor at the Coffee Bean and then back to a drive thru starbucks. In 2010 life happened and i had guardianship of my young nephew then became a stay at home mom for about 6 years (i also baby sat for friends and family while i was home) Lucky enough my aunt sent me a link one day in 2016 to apply at a Starbucks location and it just so happened to be insode St Joseph Hospital, best of both world, coffee and health care. I absolutely feel like the missions and values go hand in hand i look forward to clocking in every day.. my goal is to retire as a nurse one day as part of the Providence St Joe's family.
