I've been on a journey to cleanse my liver, get out of insulin resistance and reduce my weight. I started reading a book 'Fast Like A Girl' & "Menopause Reset' by Dr. Mindy Pelz. It's changing my life! My natural path told me I should fast 36 hours to reset and get into fat burning, so I thought I'd give it a try, what else do I have to lose? After 8 weeks, I've lost 19 lbs., my blood sugar started normalizing and I have so much more energy and brain power. I would encourage those that are looking to make some changes to their health to look into this life style. In addition I got a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) which has really helped me to see how foods affect my blood sugar.
