Positive thinking leads to positive outcomes. I always tell my patients, " do not get ahead of yourselves". Positive thinking can influence your mindset, your health (physical and emotional well-being) and even outcomes. Managing your stress is integral to your health. It can help lower your blood pressure, assist with better problem-solving and give you a greater ability to adapt to change. As we age, we need to care for our parents. No one is teaching you this. But, as their appointments increase in volume and you need to run around with them, it is so vital to keep positive thoughts. Who knows you start to see a pattern of positive outcomes. I think sometimes it actually changes the outcome. Good luck and remember, Stay positive!
