Supporting others through sharing

I had a double mastectomy 4 1/2 years ago and have been so blessed to share my experience with patients facing similar situation. I remind them that this will be a short chapter of life left to live. I had great support and I want patients to feel they are now part of a large club of survivors! If my sharing makes them feel a little at ease and ask questions of me, then I have accomplished my goal.
