There Is No Greater Feeling

Recently joined a 24 Hour Fitness gym close to home, made easier with a corporate discount. I’ve noticed most people fall into one of two categories. You’re either a morning person or an evening person. In order to make it to the gym, one must go with the category they fit into. I’m definitely a morning person. If I’m going to make it to the gym, I must go before work. This means arising as early as 4:30 for a 5:30 am class. I’ve had to use a few tricks to help me consistently get up and go. I have my coffee brewed and ready before bed, lunch packed, exercise clothes laid out, etc. Some mornings are tougher than others and I have let myself down more than once...believe me! In order to discourage this, I’ve started setting the kitchen stoves timer. If I don’t get up with my alarm, my kitchen timer forces me out of bed. Often, once I’m up, I follow through and get ready for my workout! There is no greater feeling than when leaving the gym, heading to work, proud of yourself for accomplishing your goal!
