Thinking About Healthy Choices
By using the Choose Well app on my phone daily I am constantly thinking about the health choices I make throughout the day. The food I eat, the amount of sleep I get, if I take the stairs or not, even being conscious of my mood are all things I would not normally think of. Just simply answering basic questions about what choices I made today keeps these topics at the front of my mind and helps me to make better choices. I choose to take the stairs rather than the elevator and to make sure I have vegetables and whole grains in my meals throughout the day. I have added a few minutes of stretching into my mornings and have come to really enjoy those few moments of peace before my day!
