Trying to Get Back on Track
- Location: Portland,

It was easy to care for myself before having a family. It is the all too familiar story of putting others first and forgetting to care for oneself. I have experienced this to the point of putting my health and livelihood at serious risk. Ignoring signs of a failing gallbladder to the point of having to have an emergency cholecystectomy. I heeded the warnings sign and took focus of my physical and mental health and did quite well. Unfortunately this was short lived because two years later the pandemic hit. I have been struggling with weight gain and depression since 2021. It is harder than ever for me to get back on the health bandwagon.
