Work in Progress

I have always compared myself to my brothers and then others. I have never felt loved for who I am. Even my spouse does not seem able to love me. I am very hard working and driven to succeed. I hold myself to very high standards. I do not expect others to meet my standards. I try to accept people for who they are. I am a very spiritual person. I do not like when people lie to me. I do not like surprises. I prefer that my friends listen to me and accept me with all my warts. I try to listen and learn from others life histories. I am a work in progress. I have very few close friends but hold those friends very dear to my heart.
